Humber College, Toronto
Illuminated Glass Wall
Abaco Glass installed an illuminated glass wall for Humber College’s campus store in Toronto. The feature boosts brand presence and improves the customer experience. It combines robust construction with precise architectural lighting.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The college wanted a distinctive glass feature with strong, even illumination. Abaco Glass supplied and installed 32 floor -to-ceiling panels, each around 2.5 metres high. The design includes a bold blue hexagonal pattern and the campus store logo. The finished wall strengthens the interior identity and creates a clear visual focus.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
The Wass was built using Edge lit glass panels powered with LED Lighters fitted at the top and bottom. The 4000K LEDs deliver bright, consistent light across the entire surface. Each panel uses 10 mm low-iron tempered glass, chosen for clarity and strength. The two-part 4-inch rail system secures the panels with a clean, flush finish. Both faces carry an anti-graffiti film to simplify maintenance and extend durability. The illuminated graphics and logo remain crisp and vibrant over time.
